Pulsafeeder has been the world leader in the metering pump technology for over 50 years. They have engineered high performance, versatile metering and transfer equipment for a broad range of fluid handling applications and design all of their metering equipment with one thing in mind: customer satisfaction. Below we describe some of their equipment in more detail. To visit their official web site click on the PULSAFEEDER link .
Pulsa series metering pumps
The PULSA series metering pumps are the flagship line of Pulsafeeder. They carry a flow range from 0.19 gph to as high 3436 gph (in their new 9490) and pressures as high as 5550 psi. PULSA series metering pumps come in a wide range of material constructions and are available in many designs to suit various scenarios such as viscous fluids, leak detection, higher solids, and low differential pressure to name a few. Pulsafeeder's high precision check valves provide unprecedented accuracy and reduced downtime. Maintenance is simplified by Pulsafeeder KOP (Keep On Pumping) kits that contain the all the parts of the metering pump that should be changed during regular maintenance.
Pulsar series metering pumps
The Pulsar is the next generation diaphragm metering pump line developed by Pulsafeeder to offer the ultimate in long term value and reliability. Pulsar has a unique hydraulic diagnostic window that provides immediate visual intellegence about pump and system performance. Just checking this window can solve a multitude of problems. Another unique feature available is the DLC stroke length controller which is a microprocessor-based device that makes many advanced metering pump controlling capabilities a snap and allows direct control of these via external signals. These features and an industry leading 5 year warranty make Pulsar the choice of many for fluid metering excellence.
ECO/Eastern/Isochem metering and transfer pumps
Pulsafeeder also provides gear and centrifugal pumps for metering and transfer of process fluids. ECO gear pumps provide low pulse metering in a variety of materials and configurations. They are especially good for more viscous fluids where a diaphragm pump won't work. Eastern centrifugal pumps are available in multiple stages and with several material and sealing options. They provide reliable fluid transfer for almost any industrial application. Isochem takes the ECO and Eastern designs and incorporates them into a magnetically coupled design. When leakage is not an option, Isochem is the correct choice.
